Seorang Yahudi, seorang tentera Rusia, seorang nenek dan seorang gadis cantik dalam sebuah kereta dari Kiev menuju Moscow. Pada saat kereta memasuki terowong yang gelap, tiba-tiba terdengar suara ciuman disusul oleh bunyi tamparan. Ketika kereta keluar dari terowong itu, keempat orang tersebut berpandang-pandangan sambil berpikir.
Nenek : Pasti salah seorang dari kedua lelaki cuba mencium gadis itu, dan
ditamparnya.
Tentera Rusia : Sial, Yahudi itu mencium gadis itu, aku yang ditampar.
Gadis : Salah seorang dari dua lelaki itu pasti cuba menciumku tapi tersalah
mencium nenek itu dan ditamparnya.
Yahudi : Hari ini hari yang membahagiakan untukku, kucium tanganku sendiri, lalu
kutampar prajurit Rusia itu dan tidak ada yang marah.
